Who enjoys a warm bowl of creamy oats on a chilly winter morning?
Oats are a filling, low-GI breakfast option to give you sustained energy throughout the morning.
They’re also rich in beta-glucan – a type of soluble fibre that helps lower cholesterol absorption.
Opt for gluten free/ wheat free steel-cut or rolled oats as these are the least processed and offer maximum nutrition. Avoid flavoured varieties as these are often loaded with sugar.
